Your collaborative nature will see you working across various teams to ensure the design, distribution, and maintenance of our products are optimised, compliant, and relevant, making a tangible impact on our customers.
Your analytical insights will directly impact customer experience and Hume Bank's market competitiveness. You will conduct regular analysis of product data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks. These insights will support product managers' strategic decisions by delivering data-driven recommendations on product performance and enhancements.
This is a full-time permanent position at our head office in Albury, NSW. Flexible hybrid working arrangements, such as Working from Home, are available when residing in the Albury area.
What you can expect Reporting to the Head of Product you will:
Ensure compliance with prescribed controls, aligning product system architecture with product strategies, origination, and maintenance obligations. Maintain up-to-date pricing structures, interest rates, and fees within the core banking system and relevant product systems. Conduct regular analysis of product data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks. Provide data-driven insights to support the strategic decisions of product managers. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth integration and operation of third-party products and services. Monitor market trends to keep our offerings competitive and compliant. Ensure all product-related activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal audit processes. Prepare regular reports on product performance, rate changes, and fee structures. About you To be successful in the role, you will:
2+ years' experience in technology, product management, digital marketing, finance, business, or similar fields. Previous experience in a digital product or related banking management role (desired). Knowledge of banking products and services. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow established controls. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with an eye for detail. Tertiary qualifications in technology, product management, digital marketing, finance, business, or similar (desirable). Our process Once the role is closed, we review all applications against the requirements, creating a shortlist for further review. We conduct two rounds of interviews, with the first interview being held with the reporting manager and a member of our People Team.
