Reporting directly to the Senior Producer, Sports, the role of Producer, Sports will be responsible for leading and supporting on the strategy, design and delivery of events. Based in Brisbane, you will serve domestic and international clients.
Role & ResponsibilitiesManage some of the sport presentation and fan experience portfolio from start to finish;Actively participate in the development and delivery of project plans;Be responsible for the ideation and creation of all matters related to allocated projects;Oversee the preparation of all related documentation associated with same, including but not limited to, strategy, storyboards, scripting, presentations, budgets, correspondence and cue sheets;Manage and chair project meetings, as necessary. Ensure agendas and notes are circulated in a timely manner;Lead & manage creative overlays from event design to delivery, including music, video, lighting, special effects, enhancements and innovations;Positively & proactively manage communications with all related stakeholders. The role will be the main point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, contractors and other suppliers;On event days, lead the sports presentation team as the Showcaller or other department leadership role;Actively participate in the development of RWS Global accounts through the identification of business opportunities;Meet all statutory regulation obligations including following WHS guidelines and best practices;Develop and manage contingency planning;Job specific training for staff and volunteers if and when required;Detailed analysis and reporting including post event reports;Please Note: While this is an accurate and comprehensive description of the role, the above Roles & Responsibilities are not an exhaustive list of all duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the position, and may require additional tasks be performed as assigned.
QualificationsExperience in the entertainment industry working in the sports presentation or a transferrable field;Minimum 2 years' experience in high-pressure showcalling roles.
