About the RoleThis fabulous role will have early-birds starting work at 5am and finishing in time to enjoy the Sunshine Coasts afternoons.You will be producing the Saturday breakfast radio program and will be able to: Seamlessly and confidently, produce our breakfast program, including coordinating guest interviews and daily stories.Be across the hot topics of the week and the big issues the community is talking about.Engage wisely and intelligently with audiences, on-air, online and on social media.Understand local audiences and use your "news sense" to reach and engage a broad diverse audience.Present the program when required.The ABC strives for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and to promote a culture of opportunity.Through its services the ABC seeks to represent, connect and engage with all of the Australian community.In line with our focus on diversity, applications are strongly encouraged from Indigenous Australians, people from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people with disability and LGBTIQA+ individuals.The ABC also aims to achieve a gender-balanced workforce.
