With a potential audience of more than half a million people and the Gold Coast as your geographic backdrop, producing the Saturday Breakfast program is the dream job for anyone who loves talk-back radio. The job requires you to work three days a week on Thursday to Saturday approximately 22 hours a week.
The Job Under routine to general direction of the Local Editor and in collaboration with colleagues, create content for multiple platforms to engage local, state and national audiences.Prepare and present distinct local content across all platforms that engages local audiences, including Q&As, packages, scripts, interviews and breaking news.Provide in-studio production support and manage talk-back callers and guests.Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as required.Generate stories that are relevant to a broad section of Australians and reflect the cultural, geographic and socio-economic diversity of the country.About You With accomplished program making skills and a proven ability to develop original and engaging radio and cross-platform content for target audiences, you will bring with you:
