What you will bringIdeally the successful applicant will have the following:
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, management or related discipline with several years relevant experience or lesser formal qualification with extensive experience in procurement, contract management or related fields.A comprehensive understanding of procurement and contract management principles.The ability to lead a small team of professional staff.Ability to communicate confidently with staff at all levels.High level of written and verbal communication skills.Salary and conditionsThe position is classified within Band 7 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $104,988.52 to $117,480.48 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
