Procurement Specialist – Commercial.
Key responsibilities will include: Planning Support and Procurement Services: Leading and supporting commercial elements of the capability lifecycle, including procurement planning, negotiating and contract formation ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures across all contract development activities.
Provide advice, direction, assistance and services for procurement policy, technical, commercial, legal, financial investigation and other requirements to support contract Procurement Strategy development and implementation outcomes.
Applying experience to Product/Project teams to ensure delivery of quality procurement related documentation including templates, schedule, correspondence, reports, submissions, plans.
Collaborating with other entities such as Materiel Procurement Branch (MPB), Financial Investigative Services (FIS) / Commercial and Financial Analysis (CFA) / Defence Finance Group (DFG).
Building and sustaining productive relationships with Execs, Product/Project Managers and team members, and providing high level commercial SME advice.
Supporting the Contract Management Officers with mentoring, advice, providing guidance and assisting with training and personal development planning to grow Cooperative Program acumen of the team.
Provide input into, and clearance of, key planning documents including Smart Buyer documentation, Endorsements to Proceed, Intellectual Property Needs Analysis, and Liability Risk Assessments.

This role can be performed from Amberley, QLD Security Clearance - Candidates must be an Australian citizen and hold a Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
