Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager - Electronic Solutions (ES), you will be responsible for coordinating, leading and conducting the sourcing of goods and/or services across the nominated categories within the ES business line. You will also be tasked with conducting analysis and market research on a variety of sourcing projects.
As Procurement Specialist, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
The management of quotes, tenders, purchase requisitions; purchase orders and securing goods and services that deliver the best overall commercial value; Conduct transactions around POs in RDA ERP system (SAP S4H); Strategic sourcing; negotiation of pricing and other commercial arrangements with suppliers; Supplier Relationship management; performance reporting, reviews and materials management; Actively drive cost reductions and increase value for money while championing opportunities for improvement; Contribute to the development, implementation and continued improvement of procurement related working instructions and guidelines; Effectively represent RDA Electronic Solutions and liaise with industry bodies and government industry representatives to ensure alignment with Rheinmetall global processes; Engagement with internal stakeholders across the business to develop and maintain effective, efficient and cooperative working relationships; Provide support to the RDA Procurement Manager - Electronic Solutions for periodical reporting activities, reviews and AIC industry requirements. About your new team This role reports to the Procurement Manager - Electronic Solutions and will be based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Ipswich. You will be joining a fun, supportive and open team managing the procurement requirements for Mission Equipment and Simulation & Training programs.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
Proven experience & results in end to end procurement preferably within a multinational company; The ability to demonstrate experience across all Procurement fundamentals - sourcing, tending, contracts, category and Indirects commodity management; market research analysis, reporting and negotiations; Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools & in e-Sourcing Tool; Strong understanding of Indirect costs associated with Capital Expenditure, Plant & Equipment, Tools; Have an understanding of the production of complex or technical products; Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; Drive continuous improvement of cost and supply base performance; High level ability to collate and write requirements documents; Proven examples of analytical, qualitative and quantitative abilities; An ability to travel internationally and interstate if and when required; Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
