Our brand, factory and tourist destination come together to make a truly unique Australian product story.We are looking for a proactive and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our busy Team.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:Sourcing and negotiating improved service outcomes with new and existing suppliersDriving supply chain synergies to deliver value across the businessManaging and directing the business relationship with contract manufacturers, navigating issues and negotiating solutions to ensure efficient, cost effective, on time productionProactively identifying and mitigating risks impacting delivery timelinesPartnering with Quality and Product Development to ensure that all contract manufacturers commercialise products according to the company's quality, food safety and regulatory compliance requirements, and contractual commitmentsIdentifying, developing and implementing improvements that support the manufacturing operations and deliveryCoordinating with Supply Chain, Quality and other internal departments to review and resolve problems, including root cause analysis and corrective action to support a culture of continuous improvement.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 5 years' experience in a FMCG environment working within supply chain and/or planning and purchasing department.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with management, employees, and external business partners.Inventory Management experience highly desirable.QAD Experience would be highly regarded.Sound interesting?
