Responsible for the management of a variety of services and facilities such as urban development, infrastructure maintenance, waste management, and community services our client is essential for maintaining the economic and commercial viability of the local and wider metropolitan area. Job Description The main responsibilities of the role will include but will not be limited to the following: Autonomous preparation and management of the tender process, inclusive of general tender documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations and evaluations/recommendations for award. Creation and subsequent implementation of procurement and contract management procedures, policies, and frameworks that align with relevant legislation. The identification, development and implementation of an appropriate supplier relationship management plan with applicable vendors. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Previous experience within a similar or equivalent position within a local government environment. Demonstrated experience managing ICT, corporate services, and or facilities maintenance contract packages. Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end procurement process.
