A supportive team culture that works together to continuously improve our safety, quality and operational performance.Work Life BalanceCompetitive rates, with available overtime and great working conditions.Join an established business with job security due to our strong reputation, solid pipeline of work and big growth plans.Career development and progression opportunities.Access to Employee Assistance Program.Key Responsibilities Sourcing and Supplier Management Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best value for the company, while continuously improving sourcing strategies and processes.Procurement and Processes Assisting in executing the procurement process, including RFQs, RFIs and RFPs, while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Cost Savings and Efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-savings opportunities, streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiencies.Order Management and Inventory Control Place purchase orders, track deliveries and monitor inventory levels to avoid supply chain disruption.Contract and Compliance Management Support and preparation, negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Data Analysis and Reporting Maintain procurement data, generate reports on spending, savings and supplier performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Stakeholder Communication Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance and logistics to understand requirements and ensure compliance with procurement strategies.Selection Criteria Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles, with a strong desire to learn and adapt to industry practices.Analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking abilities to identify issues and develop creative solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, confident interaction with team members, stakeholders, and suppliers.Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster a supportive, team-oriented environment.High attention to detail and accuracy in both technical and operational tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with a willingness to learn new tools and technology as required.Strong numerical aptitude, capable of analyzing and interpreting data to derive meaningful insights.Proactive approach to personal and professional development, showing a commitment to continuous learning.Adaptability and flexibility to navigate change in a dynamic workplace.Positive attitude towards embracing change, remaining calm, and focused during transitions.Self-motivated and results-driven, with the initiative to achieve goals and contribute to team success.Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.Creative problem-solver, resourceful in handling new challenges and committed to continuous improvement.No prior industry experience required, but internships or entry-level roles in related fields are advantageous.PLEASE NOTE: The successful applicant will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
