Reporting to the Manager Strategic Procurement, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Manage the planning and conduct of tender processes from tender concept through to contract execution, including the management of stakeholders, in a timely mannerProvide expert advice on the most appropriate tendering method (e.g. request for information, request for quote, request for tender, expressions of interest, etc.) to meet AV's needsDevelop and deliver detailed reports in relation to all aspects of tender processes, including tender evaluations and tender submissionsProvide expert guidance in the drafting of business cases, briefing notes, Finance Committee papers and Board reports in relation to tendering to ensure compliance with the Delegations and Authorities PolicyBuild successful and effective Evaluation Panels by building team capabilities, identifying Evaluation Panel gaps and strengths, providing relevant support to close gaps and building on strengths to achieve Evaluation Panel goalsAbout youTo be considered for this position you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.
