The Opportunity A unique opportunity to become a part of a growing collaborative Procurement team. We are seeking a proactive, experienced and forward-thinking Procurement Sourcing Specialist.
Your experience insight, vision and innovative thinking will help deliver the long-term Procurement roadmap and strategy for the organisation.

Working closely with the Procurement Coordinator, there will be a strong emphasis on building and developing the full procurement lifecycle, including governance and risk management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Partnering with key stakeholders to facilitate procurement activities.Act as the organisation's subject matter expert on procurement, risk management, probity and compliance standards.Facilitate procurement activities to ensure integrity of processes are fair, transparent and compliant, while driving value for money outcomes.Prepare or review RFx before release to market, develop complex specifications, contract documentation, recommendation reports.Analyse and drive the compliance and procurement improvement projects.Lead the establishment and management of Council owned Panel arrangements.Assist with preparation of monthly reports for the Executive Management Team.To view the Position Description, click here .
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following: Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, procurement or related qualification with substantial experience in related discipline or extensive experience in complex procurement environment.Demonstrated experience in a procurement and contract management (or equivalent) role and good knowledge of procurement principles and procedures, probity, risk and compliance processes and techniques, preferably in a local or state government context.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.Proven ability to conduct audits, undertake data and interpret data analytics.Culture and Values Our vision for our community is to be: "A vibrant, safe and liveable city accessible to all" and that means there's a place here for you too. Our organisational values represent us as an established growth Council and the values are reflected in everything we do; our decision-making, our actions and our service provision to the community.
