About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to assist the Business Operations Support manager through the management and reporting of procurement activities for services and resources within the Defence Strategic Communications Branch (DSCB) of our Federal government client.  This is an onsite role located in Canberra and requires a minimum NV1 Security Clearance. About you Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Mentoring less experienced team members and improving DSCB procurement processes and practices where possible. Working with DSCB Business Areas to undertake the procurement processes required to achieve their desired outcomes. Ongoing commercial and procurement support to prime contracts including management of service amendments/Contract Change Proposals (CCPS). Knowledge share with DCS members and to increase commercial awareness and maturity (Raising the commercial awareness and maturity of DCS). Establishing a regular engagement cadence with service delivery teams, BOS, DSCB personnel and vendors to plan, identify and undertake CCPs and sourcing prior to services being required. Requirements: Minimum NV1 security clearance. Minimum 2 years similar experience within Federal Government ideal Proven background working with Tender evaluations, familiar with the ICTPA & DSS Panels, Section 23 approvals, RFQ and register maintenance. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain complex ideas succinctly in plain context. Why Fujitsu?
