Our Procurement and Contracts team is currently seeking two experienced Procurement Specialists (internally known as Sourcing Specialists) to join their team on a permanent full-time basis based in the Brisbane CBD.
As a trusted partner, you will work closely with key stakeholders to provide sourcing to award procurement services, solutions and advice to drive strong commercial and business outcomes.
Reporting to the relevant Category Manager, our Sourcing Specialists work collaboratively with up to five other team members consisting of other Procurement Specialists, Senior Procurement Specialists and a Contracts Adviser.
We currently have an opportunity available within our Corporate Services and our ICT teams.
About the role:
Manage the full tender process from planning to award including all tender documentation Provide support across the endtoend strategic procurement process including developing of procurement strategies, leading negotiations to achieve commercially favourable outcomes and providing advice to the business Develop and sustain strong and productive relationships with internal stakeholders Analyse and evaluate spend data to support procurement strategies Manage multiple concurrent projectsFor full position responsibilities please see attached position description
About you:
Previous procurement experience in corporate sourcing or ICT projects Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects Experienced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and consult across a broad range of stakeholders An analytical mind to analyse and translate data IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CURRENT QUEENSLAND RAIL EMPLOYEES:
