An opportunity now exists for a Procurement Specialist to join our National Procurement Team.

About your new roleThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for the day to day supervision of the purchasing officer functions whilst also taking on direct responsibility for a range of other procurement related tasks.
This role will report to the National Procurement Manager and is aligned with the National Operations Teams commitment to exceptional service to all key stakeholders within the Cooper Fluid Systems branch network.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the day to day purchasing functions for the central procurement team whilst also assisting to maintain essential procurement functions.
This role is ideal for someone with exceptional organisational and communication skills and a commitment to excellence.
This is a vital role in the business and will be responsible for:Supply Plan ExecutionEfficiency and accuracy in managing emailsEnsuring contractual agreements between the business and vendors are followedLiaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are completed inline with agreed service levelsManaging and supporting team members to succeed whilst achieving set KPIsAssisting with implementation and transitioning of a new ERP system inline with the businesses Procurement 2.0 strategyWhat you will need to succeed:The successful applicant will ideally have the following:
