About the Opportunity ? As the Procurement Specialist you will drive value through strategic purchasing of goods and services while safeguarding company resources.
You build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, lead contract negotiations, and streamline purchasing workflows to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
The role encompasses full-cycle procurement management, from supplier evaluation to contract oversight and fleet management.
By analysing spending patterns and market trends, you'll identify opportunities to optimise costs and enhance operational performance.
Key to this role is to ensures all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, while continuously improving processes to support organisational objectives.
About You You will be a dynamic Procurement Specialist who combines strategic thinking with hands-on expertise.
You'll bring proven experience managing complete procurement lifecycles, from tender development, recommendations and contract execution.
Your strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset will be evident in your track record of budget management, procurement forecasting, and data-driven decision making.
Success in this role requires contract management skills, including understanding of contract classifications, with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
and confident in managing purchase order processes.
Additionally, Advanced Excel skills and systems proficiency Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities Professional communication style and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail A Certificate IV in Procurement, Fleet Management, or Contracts would be highly regarded.
