The Procurement Specialist (Events) is responsible for providing an expert technical procurement consultancy and advisory service to the Events South Australia business unit at SATC on procurement planning and sourcing activities to enable them to meet the business needs and expectations to deliver SATC's owned and managed events.
The role will contribute to the management of procurement activities to deliver value for money and to ensure compliance with Treasurer's Instructions 18 Procurement and associated policies and requirements.
Key Responsibilities of the role Provide advice and assistance to the Events South Australia team members in understanding the procurement process and managing procurement projects.Assist the General Manager, Events Operations with the planning of procurement projects that need to be undertaken in the Events team.Establish and maintain relationships with key clients that facilitates effective and efficient procurement processes and ensures compliance with government procurement policies and procedures.Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of procurement processes, procedures and systems relating to procurement, contract management and compliance.A wide range of additional benefits are available at SATC including:

The role will be offered as a full-time, non-Executive contract for a 5-year term, at a remuneration level of ASO7 ($108,109 – $116,864 per year).
