Our large Federal Government client requires multiple Procurement Specialists to provide procurement services in the areas of labour hire, ICT hardware and ICT software products.The Procurement Delivery team is a heavy operational area within the organisation.
Their main focus is to provide end-to-end support to business areas when engaging labour hire contractors as well as providing additional ICT hardware and software procurement support to the organisation.This role requires a minimum Australian Government Baseline security clearance.
These opportunities do not have the ability to obtain sponsorship for a security clearance.Estimated start date: 13 March 2025Initial contract duration: 12 monthsExtension term: 12 monthsNumber of extensions: 2Location of work: Canberra, HybridKEY RESPONSIBILITIESPreparation and review of procurement documents including: approval documents, requests for quote, evaluation reports, work orders and purchase orders.Provision of procurement and contract management advice and assistance to project and program teams.Implementation of Commonwealth procurement policies and legislation and agency procurement policies and practices.Development of team tools, guides and templates, as required.Management of assigned procurement activities, ensuring records are filed appropriately within Objective.Reporting tasks and other ad hoc section activities, as required.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDEDAustralian Citizenship and a minimum Baseline security clearance is essential.A very good understanding of procurement policies and legislation under the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework; and experience running end-to-end labour hire procurements; and/or a general understanding of End User License Agreements and warranties and ability to negotiate changes.Demonstrated experience developing procurement documents in consultation with stakeholders (e.g.
business areas or projects).Demonstrated experience using Commonwealth panel arrangements for labour hire, ICT hardware and ICT software products.Demonstrated understanding of good probity practices and the Commonwealth Procurement Framework, including the Resource Management Framework and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.Ability to use MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams and familiarity with the use of Electronic Document Records Management (EDRM) Systems.Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Demonstrated experience liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders including ICT professionals and vendors.Ability to work independently and prioritise work accordingly.Why Kinexus?Kinexus has been supplying security cleared contractors to government panels since 2004 and have a strong relationship with them.
