Job Title: Procurement Senior AdvisorLocation: Water CorporationEmployment Type: Full timeWe are seeking a Procurement Senior Advisor on a permanent basis to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a procurement expert capable of identifying, sourcing, planning, developing, and managing preferred supplier agreements and contracts for goods. This role involves handling individual and panels of preferred supplier agreements at a complex level to support Capital Works projects, Operations, and Maintenance for the Corporation.Who are we?When you join Water Corporation, you play an important role for the people of WA. Our services are essential for life - everyday, millions of Western Australians rely on us to deliver and manage water across our state.If you're driven to make a meaningful contribution, you've come to the right place.Real benefits that matter:Real flexibility with options to work from home, 9-day fortnight, flexible work hoursTwo well-being days each year to do whatever you need to do to feel goodAccess to long service leave pro rata after 3 years of serviceGenerous co-contribution superannuation up to 14%Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leaveWhat the role will involve:Identify Contracts, preferred Supply Agreements and panel requirements for opportunities of improvement.Responsible for identifying and recommending business and contract improvement initiatives for managed categories, while consulting with key internal stakeholders to identify new requirements and drive procurement continuous improvement initiatives.Initiate and analyse spend and usage activity of preferred supplier agreements and contracts to monitor contract compliance.Evaluate the supplier's performance for the contract duration, agree on resulting data with supplier and stakeholder and record the results for future usage and improvements.Develop procurement plans to establish and/or renew preferred supplier agreements and/or panels.Develop and implement contract management plans and user guides for all contracts managed by this position, ensuring procurement plans and contract management plans identify potential risks and provide commercial mitigation strategies.Identify and collaborate with major suppliers who can provide goods to meet the Corporation's ongoing needs, and work with the business to ensure they are technically and commercially capable.Key skills and experience:Your ability to navigate a broad range of issues within a multi-disciplinary team in a complex and ambiguous environment is essential. Strong communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills will be crucial for this role.You must be appropriately qualified and experienced in a similar position, demonstrating high standards of conceptual, analytical, and negotiation skills, along with some purchasing and supplier management experience.You believe your expertise in the commercial management of procurement is unparalleled.
