Role available now | Solid experience necessaryHybrid setup | Potential for permanency | Great people!Leading not-for-profit is on the search for an experienced Procurement Senior Adviser to join their team ASAP (Monday 23rd December is their ideal start date but happy to wait until January 6th 2025 if needed for the right applicant).
This role is an incredible opportunity to join a business who are recognised nationally for the brilliant work they do, and their solid, much needed, place in the market.
This role will initially be a contract role, but with potential for permanency for the right applicant.
It is a hybrid role, splitting time between their CBD office and home.
The hours are full time, Monday to Friday. RESPONSIBILITIESDevelopment and oversight of end-to-end procurement activities and processes.Providing support, expert advice and guidance business wide whilst supporting positive outcomes for employee and community alike.Project management, co-ordination and support up to conclusion of contract.Providing costing and procurement support to the Commercial Manager, Head of Finance and Commercial and Chief Operations Officer.Maintain and update policies and procedures, as well as managing procurement risk.Oversee and identify on cost saving strategies and efficiencies.Assist with preparation of relevant documentation such as Requests for Proposal/Tender and Expressions of Interest.Assess service provider and supplier contracts, reviewing pricing and additional benefits.Further responsibilities as required.REQUIREMENTSSolid employment experience handling contemporary procurement policies, procedures, legislation etc.Confidence and capability in conducting negotiations with both suppliers and service providers.Strong interpersonal, customer service and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally, as well as exceptional attention to detail.An analytical mind which can foresee upcoming challenges, and get ahead of the mark.The drive to get on board with a leading NFP and really make a difference.Technically strong in relevant procurement systems, financial software and MS Office Suite.Please note this role is available now, and applicants with extensive notice periods may not be considered.
