About Our Client
We are part of NSW Government and are busy creating something exceptional to showcase to local communities and visitors to the area.

Job Description
Define a 3-5 year Procurement Strategy and Framework.
Define a Future State Operating Model, including policies, processes, service delivery model, roles and responsibilities, data and reporting, risk and controls.
Lead the procurement process for key construction-related contracts, including tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Monitor procurement progress against the project plan, adjusting strategies as needed to mitigate risks and address challenges.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Develop a Procurement Uplift Project plan, creating achievable timelines to implement initiatives, identifying resource requirements, managing and reporting project risks, issues, actions, decisions, and status reports to the Procurement Project Control Group.
Oversee the Level 1 Accreditation application process focused on sustainability.
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience in developing and executing long-term procurement strategies for large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction procurement processes, including tendering, contract management, and supplier negotiation.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Must be an excellent collaborator and people-led individual.
