Responsibilities:
Working with climax line boring equipment
ID welding and Face welding
Bush and Bearing installation.
Producing work to specific manufacturing standards, sizes and finishes
Attending jobs both on site and in our workshop
Follow site and workshop safety requirements and regulations.
Required to work both dayshift or nightshift when required.
Essential requirements:
Trades Certificate – Fitter Machinist (Fitter & Turner) or Boilermaker
Current driver's license – MR license desirable
Current coal board medical, Standard 11 & working at heights.
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and fabrication solutions
Ability to travel away to various sites & be away from home.
Time management and ability to prioritise competing demands.
Ability to maintain high work standards with minimal supervision.
Ability to problem solve and show a high level of initiative.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.

Description of the role
Mainetec has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement and Planning Specialist to support our Operations Manager. This position would suit an organised, forward-thinking and proactive person who is familiar with the manufacturing, engineering or maintenance sectors.
Mandatory Qualifications & License
We are looking for an applicant that can demonstrate the following:
Essential requirements:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft/Office 365 package
Excellent organisational skills
Understanding of job planning and tracking processes in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Capable of forging good and effective working relationships with Mainetec's workshop and administration teams, including with remote colleagues in Perth and internationally
Additional characteristics that will be viewed favourably:
Trade background
Project administration experience
Experience using Oracle/Netsuite system
Key responsibilities
Prepare and manage job packs and documentation
Monitor and report on workshop job progress
Plan and book all third party services required for workshop jobs
Process sales orders and client purchase orders
Ensure optimum stock levels through internal consultation, reports and replenishment orders
Contribute to continuous improvement including process review and recommendations
Ensuring work is conducted in compliance with Mainetec safety and quality frameworks
Liaise with Operations Manager, workshop supervisory staff and warehouse team to support the progression of jobs through the workshop in a timely manner
