Procurement Partner (Property & Facilities) Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Procurement Partner (Property & Facilities) to join Finance Business Solutions, Chancellery Division.
This role will support the Director – Facilities Management and Director – Campus Services and their direct reports, by providing strategic procurement advice, guidance, support and category management leadership across QUT's Property and Facilities spend - over $100m.
This will be achieved through providing procurement and contract management leadership, expertise, advice, guidance and risk management to meet the business needs across QUT's Facilities Management and Campus Services activities including operations, maintenance, integrated transport (including fleet), minor and major construction / works, security and Property & Retail.
This position will provide an agile and responsive service to the evolving needs of QUT.

The role is within Finance Business Solutions (FBS) within Chancellery Division.
FBS is responsible for a range of business functions to facilitate the ongoing financial and planning viability of the university in realising QUT's strategic aims and objectives, whilst maintaining a customer centric approach when engaging with the university community, industry and government.

What you need to succeed Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in procurement and sourcing or a related business or law discipline with extensive relevant experience in procurement and sourcing.
Extensive relevant experience at a senior level in procurement category management, including experience across one or more of the Property & Facilities categories (including operations, maintenance, integrated transport / fleet, minor and major works, security and property & Retail).
Demonstrated high level of business acumen and leadership with proven results in a complex Property & Facilities environment.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence across multiple business areas to develop and deliver procurement strategies and outcomes to meet the constantly evolving needs of the university including developing successful partnerships.
Proven track record of utilising data analytics to assess return on investment and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including demonstrated ability to manage constructive and collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders and provide authoritative, well researched advice with an ability to confidently articulate complex issues in a succinct manner (both internally and externally).
Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service and quality.
