An exciting opportunity exists within our Procurement team for a customer-focused and commercially driven Procurement Partner that will support and manage a broad range of activities.
Reporting to our Commercial and Procurement Manager and working as part of a dynamic and talented team located in Pennant Hills at our HQ, in this role you will support the Commercial and Procurement Manager to ensure the business is developing high-quality and appropriate relationships with all key suppliers, ensuring appropriate risk management, quality and digital enablement in its supply chain, and creating optimal value for money across all categories of spend.
The role will be pivotal in relation to all aspects of asset management planning.
As our Procurement Officer, you will be focusing on and delivering value by:
Assisting to refine and maintain the Procurement Framework, and liaising with external consultants and other staff to support the implementation of the Procurement Framework Act as a point of reference and contact for school leaders and school staff in aspects of current and future procurement processes Provide proficient management of all aspects of sourcing processes and program requirements Provide support and assistance in preparing and managing tendering and other sourcing processes Carry out analysis and research around spend categories in order to assist the Commercial and Procurement Manager in determining procurement strategies and supplier engagement approaches by category Provide support to the Commercial and Procurement Manager in developing ongoing relationships with pre-qualified and preferred suppliers Collaborate with others and apply a customer service mindset in oversight of the Procurement helpdesk to ensure efficient response times, and timely closure of tickets while maintaining communication with the customer Applies best practice principles to project management About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Understanding of procurement and supply chain industry best practices, framework and relevant statutory and regulatory standards Knowledge of internal planning pathways and procurement for projects Evidence of strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management Software, with practical understanding of Microsoft Excel including dealing with large data sets Evidence of effective budgetary and risk management controls to deliver projects on time and within budget Demonstrates a strong work ethic and genuine passion for customer support and service Appropriate qualification in business, project management, administration or a related discipline Current NSW Driver's Licence What's on offer?
