This role involves procuring goods and services, managing expenditure, and ensuring compliance with quality and cost requirements within set timeframes.Key Responsibilities:Procure goods and services per schedules at optimal prices, adhering to policies and procedures.Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.Manage Pronto configuration and reporting to support ongoing activities.Benchmark suppliers for cost savings and value.Follow up on outstanding orders and credits.Assist users with parts catalogue and orders queries.Resolve purchase order issues and discrepancies.Ensure correct authorisations and code allocations for purchases.Consider internal stock holdings before placing orders.About You:Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a Procurement Officer position or similar.Strong commercial negotiation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Pronto.Experience in the mining, civil, or heavy industry is beneficial.Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration with a fortnightly pay cycle.Career development opportunities.Employee discounts with retail, vehicle, insurance, and banking partners.Free on-site parking.Seize this opportunity to make a difference!
