Procurement Officer

Previous procurement experience is required Must have SAP experience About Our Client Our client is a local Manufacturing & Distribution business based in Chipping Norton.

Job Description The Procurement Officer will have the following responsibilities: Manage all procurement and supplier related activities required to ensure the on-time supply of assigned goods and materials required to meet the Production Schedule and customer requirements.
Manage the procurement process from end to end (customer enquiry through to delivery into NSW Warehouse) Manage procurement of direct and indirect spend materials Liaise with Sales and Ops to ensure correct flow of information for new products and new purchases Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and interactions with suppliers The Successful Applicant The successful candidate for the Procurement Officer will ideally have the following key skills & qualities: Placing purchase orders with suppliers for all inventory and consumables Have experience in MRP SAP user is essential Liaise between suppliers and staff to resolve purchasing and /or supply issues Maintain all purchase order delivery dates and expedite overdue orders Manage the return with suppliers for damaged or non-compliant material Maintain an up to date supplier database What's on Offer Salary $80,000 - $85,000 + Super Opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
