Procurement Officer – Join a Leading Team at Ambrose Construct Group! About Us:
Ambrose Construct Group is a nationwide leader in insurance building repairs, known for our commitment to customer satisfaction and quality craftsmanship on every project.
As we continue to grow following a recent merger and expansion, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Procurement Officer with a growth mindset to join our dedicated team at our National Head Office on the Sunshine Coast.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure supplier performance meets the company's standards and expectations.Source trade solutions that align with operational needs and customer requirements.Establish and implement quality standards and processes for selecting and collaborating with external trades, including developing qualification protocols and related policies.Conduct audits, supplier quality assessments, business reviews, and ensure quality-related processes are followed.Manage the performance of external service providers, addressing any issues in collaboration with Procurement Management, internal clients, and suppliers.Develop consistent measurement and reporting processes to assess external trades' performance across business units.Provide reports with trend analysis, corrective actions, and risk assessments.Focus on supplier safety, quality, reliability, and continuity of supply.Track and report on supplier compliance with negotiated terms through performance evaluations.Ideal Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably within the insurance building industry.Qualifications in Supply Chain Management or a related field are highly desirable.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office Suite products.Strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering quality work that impacts company success.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.What We Offer: A supportive and inclusive workplace with a passionate, dedicated team.Competitive remuneration based on experience.Access to our Employee Assistance Program for additional support.A $2,000 referral bonus for referring successful candidates.Comprehensive induction, professional development, and learning opportunities.Modern office facilities and resources.Engagement initiatives like weekly morning teas and monthly BBQs to boost morale.Ambrose Construct Group is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment for all employees.
