Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join our team on a 12-month, fixed-term contract in our growing Perth office. As a member of the Procurement team, you'll be responsible for procurement initiatives, supporting internal stakeholders, the provision of procurement governance, and maintaining supplier relationships. Activities include but are not limited to:
Undertaking procurement planning and tendering activities, from the construction of compliant and competitive requests for proposals, managing correspondence, and developing sourcing documentation; spanning tender development, release, evaluation, and recommendation processes and supporting contract negotiations, drafting, and contract award. Develop and raise purchase orders and expediting reports within SmartPlant Materials. Collation of and assurance checking of contract documentation. Expediting materials to ensure all goods are delivered to site within the expected time constraints. About you Experience in a similar role with past exposure to procurement for an engineering organisation. An understanding of project procurement. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks. Background knowledge of infrastructure, plant, and materials. Good record keeping and reporting to align with audit requirements. Process and respond to procurement requests and enquiries. Ability to follow policies and procedures, with a high level of attention to detail. Enjoy working as part of a busy and fun procurement team. Contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
