Procurement Officer About the role: This rare opportunity for a procurement officer in a well known local government. This is a full time permanent role. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining a high standard of procurement and contracts management. Draft, distribute, and evaluate tender documentation. Understand and implement relevant laws and policies as needed. Procurement and contract management. Experience in procurement policies and procedures in both local and public sector settings Skilled at writing detailed reports Liaises with other divisions and other departments, organisations and the general public as required. Skill in spotting issues and coming up with practical solutions for complex problems. Key requirements include: Minimum of 3 years experience as procurement officer. Formal qualifications will be highly regarded. Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication. You will be an outcome focused professional, passionate about delivering a high quality of service. Strong computer skills including applications and databases.
