Job Description Manage and oversee the procurement of goods and services Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise efficiency Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues that arise Monitor supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of goods Collaborate with other departments to forecast future needs Implement and adhere to procurement policies and procedures Contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement and supply chain department The Successful Applicant A successful Procurement Officer should have: A degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field Strong negotiation skills Experience in procurement and supply chain management Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of procurement systems and procedures Strong communication skills, both written and verbal What's on Offer A competitive salary package including base + super, estimated around AUD 90,000 - AUD 110,000 per annum A supportive team environment that fosters growth and development Opportunities for professional development An inclusive company culture that values diversity
