About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
Proven knowledge and experience in commercial end-to-end procurementDemonstrated ability to deliver high quality market analysis reports identifying relevant and realistic opportunities.Strong administrative analytical and numerical skillsAttention to detail and compliance with government procurement process requirements.Ability to build collaborative relationships and contribute to the success of a team.Willingness to work in a digital-first, paperless office environment.Looks beyond the obvious to provide outstanding levels of service.Constructively deals with service issues that arise in a timely manner.Key Accountabilities Review for endorsement of procurement documentation by Procurement Manager or Procurement Specialist to ensure legislative and policy compliance. Work actively with business areas to develop solutions, documentation and build procurement capability when required.Working with influence to build positive relationships with DGS/DTF/DPC/SV business areas and enhance financial awareness and promote best practice procurement.Identify aggregated purchasing opportunities for client departments and relevant portfolio agencies based on analytics and spend patterns.Review and analyse financial information and prepare regular reports including spend analysis, financial commitments, variance reporting, cost centre audits, purchase order activity.Manage business systems to record, monitor, analyse and report on procurement activities within the portfolio. This includes review and analysis of financial information and preparation of regular reports including spend analysis, financial commitments, variance reporting, cost centre audits, purchase order activity.
