This role is primed for someone to step into the Procurement Manager role within the next 12-18 months.What You Will Bring to the RoleA highly motivated attitude.Strong communication skills to engage with people at all levels.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage urgent requests.Experience in optimizing systems and implementing new ones as needed.Attention to detail in managing budgets and procurement processes.Minimum RequirementsHold a current WA Manual Drivers Licence.Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.Able to obtain or hold a current National Police Clearance.Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Forklift) or able to obtain this ticket.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the Inventory Management System.Identify procurement improvements or strategies without compromising quality.Undertake regular stock takes to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained.Ensure the team delivers orders in the correct quantity, quality, and on time.Ensure all products and stock are stored and maintained in the correct locations.Ensure the maintenance of warehouse equipment to minimize disruption to operations.Support departments through timely delivery of material.Take accountability for cyclical stock count processes and outcomes.Implement initiatives to improve daily picking efficiency without compromising quality, safety, or employee wellbeing.Loading and unloading trucks of parts and consumables for incoming stock and outgoing freight.Ordering and packing parts and consumables for specific rigs based on monthly stocktakes.Various ad-hoc duties around the yard and workshop.Why This Role?Excellent team with a fantastic culture of true teamwork.Well-established and successful business offers job security.Excellent remuneration with regular reviews.
