Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer oversees stock ordering, goods receival, issue resolution, supplier credit requests, collaborates regularly with suppliers and the Astley's management team to maintain stock levels for our customer base. Additionally, the role ensures the accuracy of price files and system inventory levels. The Procurement Officer will liaise with suppliers, receivals teams and accounts departments.  Key responsibilities:  Source required products at optimal rates Handle all paperwork relevant to the role Maintain adequate stock levels to maximise sales potentials Identify new suppliers for current product lines and explore new items to enhance existing ranges Regularly monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels and report suggested changes to senior management Oversee all aspects of procurements, including purchasing, claims, returns, price files, alternative suppliers and supplier relationships management Assist in the stock take process Knowledge and experience required:  Experience working in procurement Ability to work independently Ability to adapt to change Collaborative nature dealing with diverse teams Use of initiative, proactive and organised approach to work The Procurement Officer is a permanent, full-time position based at our Dubbo store in Cobbora Rd. This role involves procurement requirements for both Astley's and Maas Group by leveraging Astley's buying groups and established relationships.
