Procurement Officer

The Role As the procurement project lead, you will be responsible for the evaluation, risk analysis and negotiations with various vendors to provide maximum business efficiency at a cost-effective rate. Duties and Responsibilities Carry out the commercial evaluation, risk analysis and leadnegotiation with vendors Analyse past and predicted financial data to compare past spend with proposed vendor spend General reporting into the procurement manager on outcomes and project status updates. Draft and develop terms and conditions sheets with external parties. Design and implementfinancial templated that measure deliverables, charge rates and outcomes. Use financial modelling and analysis to develop cost saving strategies and ensure projects are within budget. About You Tertiary qualifications in project management are desired Strong problem solving skills. Advanced excel skills. Able to build relationships and communication with internal teams and external vendors Able to work under a deadline A positive and can do attitude.
