Job Description About the role: MPK is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our Project Team in our Brisbane Support Office. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will support project plant and procurement requirements including processing of purchase orders, invoices and all other procurement related items.
Main Duties include:
Completing PO requisition forms for use in PO approval under the company DOA process Creating and completing project purchase orders Managing minor subcontract agreements Processing invoices for purchase orders, plant and subcontractor claims Sourcing and selecting suppliers based on evaluation criteria i.e. lead times etc. Desired Skills and Experience About You: The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant industry experience. They must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment whilst maintaining high working standards without the need for constant supervision.
MS Office proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Sound understanding of Financial Software Strong planning and organisational skills Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflict Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines Communicates well both verbally and written. Has good listening skills and is able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Works cooperatively in a team, values other opinions and accepts constructive criticism Maintains a high standard of behaviours while at work, living in the provided accommodation, and whilst travelling to and from site.
