This role involves working closely with the operations and wider management team to manage Baptistcare's goods and services, and procurement contracts in line with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will maintain a register of all goods and services contracts, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Baptistcare's contractual obligations.

Assist in managing central contracts, procurement planning, tender document preparation, and evaluation in consultation with stakeholders and the General Manager Asset, Infrastructure, and Procurement Provide advice on procurement contract matters, including the use of central contracts, contracting procedures, policies, and practices. Complete compliance and quality assessments of contract documents and submissions, and ensure quality assurance of contract and procurement approval procedures. Conduct research and analysis to identify contract opportunities that manage risk and deliver value for money. Contribute to the development and continuous review of contract forms, guides, templates, and communications. Liaise effectively with stakeholders and suppliers, as well as other parties within the organisation on procurement and contract matters. Adhere to Baptistcare's Code of Conduct and ensure safe work practices compliant with Work, Health, and Safety policies and legislation. Skills and Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contract documentation, tender analysis, and contract administration. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions. Proficiency in IT applications and contemporary purchasing systems. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and networks. Experience in negotiation and conflict management. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. Ability to coordinate programs of work and a high level of customer focus and service.
