Job Description We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our TitanAg team in Newport, on Sydney's Northern Beaches, on a permanent full-time basis.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimising the sourcing and procurement of indirect goods across the business. Your expertise in identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies will directly contribute to our operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will proactively review categories within your portfolio and work with SMEs to enhance total value delivery through the RFx process, scrutiny of current contracts, supplier performance, and streamlining internal processes.
Responsibilities Implement the Source to Contract process and lead supplier negotiations.Use data-driven analysis to determine category spend, benchmark analysis to calculate cost savings, identify where cost savings can be made, and drive implementation.Engage stakeholders in procurement activities, ensuring that the needs of head office and network are balanced, and the voice of the customer is central to decisions.Manage key supplier relationships against KPIs and SLAs and conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure best practice procurement processes.Maintain a Team Procurement Pipeline, identify how to load level annual workload for themselves and the Team, and lead improvements to reduce peaks.Identify and drive improvements to Procurement and Procure to Pay processes.About you Extensive experience in a procurement or commodity management role.Demonstrated experience using category management and spend analysis to identify and drive cost savings.Understanding of total cost drivers, inventory management, KPIs, and SLAs.Experience leading Supplier Performance Reviews and routine meetings, using KPIs and SLAs to drive these.Can perform simple cost-benefit analysis and scenario analysis in Excel and apply the outcomes in decision-making.Strong stakeholder engagement skills and business acumen.Ability to run tender processes and manage contracts and comfortable having difficult conversations.About TitanAg Servicing rural Australia in manufacturing and the supply of Agricultural Chemicals, Titan AG offers a diverse range of high-quality herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides at competitive prices.
