More on CE Group can be found at www.ce.group, LinkedIn, or Facebook pages.About the RoleAs we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a Procurement Manager to build, design, and implement CE Group's procurement strategy, aligning with business project deliverables. This role will work across multiple business units, and the ability to service the individual business units while creating beneficial outcomes for the wider business is essential.This role would ideally suit someone who has a background in electrical construction/project-based procurement and electrical wholesaling, across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. The procurement function will require someone who can look at the current company procurement process, redefine, streamline, and effect change across the organisation to better support an ever-growing order book.Along with negotiating supply and purchase agreements across international suppliers, the role will collaborate closely with Project Managers with a particular focus on strategic planning for critical packages, long lead items, and capital expenditure purchases.ResponsibilitiesIdentifying potential procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions or price fluctuations and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Evaluate overseas and domestic supplier performance and resolve issues with product quality, delivery, or service.People management and engagement - leading a team across the region, providing coaching, mentoring, and support.Coordinate extensively with construction delivery and planning teams to ensure the timely achievement of procurement milestones.Manage risks related to supply chain and procurement processes.Source and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in procurement, electrical wholesaling, logistics, or similar discipline, including international procurement experience.Strong negotiation skills with high attention to detail and creating supplier partnerships.A willingness to travel both domestically and internationally when required.Exposure to MS Platforms and COINS ERP system (preferred).Work with internal stakeholders to ensure client service levels remain high.Must be technologically capable and able to work within SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, and similar tools.Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.A current, unrestricted driver's license.Why CE Group?CE Group is currently incorporated in 5 countries across the region and growing.
