With a healthy pipeline of work, we are looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. You will work closely with our Finance team and Trade Partner Relationship Manager to maximise value from our supplier and partner agreements. You will ensure compliance with our procurement systems and processes and ensure scalability of these systems in line with our growth.
What you'll do: Develop and implement strategies for a culture of efficient procurement and value generation.Establish and manage relationships with key suppliers.Establish Master Agreements with suppliers, consultants, and service providers.Maintain our preferred supplier database, terms, and conditions.Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure consistent quality and reliability.Work with our site teams to facilitate logistics and supply of goods and services.Ensure compliance with relevant government & social procurement guidelines.Assess quotes and provide comparisons and recommendations for preferred supplier selection.Introduce automation and AI capabilities into procurement processes to maximise efficiencies.About you: Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent industry experience.5+ years' experience in procurement.Construction industry experience, preferably with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 company.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proficiency in Jobpac – Viewpoint experience (desirable).Proven ability to communicate complex issues with clarity and ease.Confidence and strong influence and negotiation skills.Able to work well autonomously and within a team.Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.How you'll benefit: Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industry.Free health assessments for all staff.Paid parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers.Fast-tracked career development opportunities and support through mentoring, workshops, and retreats.Industry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt, and other resources.Kapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces, and respects differences.
