Our mission is to grow and protect our members' superannuation and support them throughout their lives.With around 127,000 members holding over $36 billion in defined benefit and accumulation net assets (as at 30 June 2024), we're well placed to accomplish that mission for the next 100 years.About the positionAs the Procurement Manager you will oversee end-to-end procurement and drive strategic value while maintaining compliance with the procurement framework. In this newly created role, you will lead the enhancement and embedding of the procurement framework across the organisation by coaching business owners on best practice procurement and vendor management.Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, this role works broadly across the organisation with a focus on technology, administration, custodian, facilities, and marketing suppliers. You will build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders and have the opportunity to influence and shape the future of the Procurement function across ESSSuper, contributing to ongoing business improvements and efficiencies.What we're looking forA seasoned procurement professional with experience managing end-to-end procurement activities across multiple categoriesStrong stakeholder management skills to partner with business owners and suppliersUnderstanding of Victorian government procurement procedures including Victorian Government Purchasing BoardBachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or other relevant qualificationsExcellent communication skills to support negotiations, reporting, and coaching business ownersAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWhat we offerIMPACT - Our work has meaning; we serve the people who serve the community.
