Led by an inspiring and highly regarded CEO and Executive Team, the organisation is looking for a Procurement professional to lead and oversee several key operational & strategic aspects across procurement and contract management.
The Position Reporting to the General Manager - Strategy & Innovation, the Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing key operational aspects including:
Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement a strategic procurement plan, including tender processes and supplier negotiations to optimise value and service delivery.Framework and Process Leadership: Establish and oversee procurement and contract management frameworks, ensuring centralised and efficient end-to-end processes.Contract and Cost Management: Manage a contracts register, monitor contract accuracy, and identify cost-optimisation opportunities with stakeholders.Policy, Training, and Reporting: Ensure procurement policies are updated, deliver organisational training, and report on cost-optimization activities and outcomes.The Person To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and have:
Demonstrated experience in procurement & contract management practices, ideally with a relevant work history in the property/construction/housing sector.Demonstrated success and experience leading diverse teams, working with senior leadership and managing key relationships with stakeholders.Expertise in data management, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and data visualisation.Proven negotiation & contract management skills, with a strong understanding of business and legal terms.What's on offer The opportunity to create meaningful change and contribute to the overall success of this community-focused organisation. Flexible work options are available, with a requirement to be in the inner-city office at least 3 days per week.
