This role will be part of a large scale of state wide capital investment project , will be responsible for the specification, contracting and purchasing of high risk, high value goods and services.
Key responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with project directors, consultants, project officers and key stakeholders to facilitate the coordination of construction and design components.
Liaise and negotiate with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders about specific requirements for the project and ensure these requirements meet the business needs and organisational objectives.
Lead the design, development and implementation of the procurement strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders that deliver long-term value and benefits to the organisation.
Develop and deliver procurement strategies that minimise risk and maximise value, in compliance with procurement legislation, policy and industry regulations.
Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with key supplier and customer stakeholders to drive better value outcomes and maximise benefits.
Develop and maintain strong relationships and networks, through liaison with a range of stakeholders including other teams, peers, and colleagues across the organisation, and in other organisations.
Essential Requirements :
Demonstrated experience building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in leading high value, high risk and complex negotiations.
Demonstrated experience in leading complex strategic capital procurement projects, supporting internal customers in the development of complex specifications, and ensuring materials / services are delivered according to contract.
Other Requirements:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in supply chain, procurement, or a related field, would be well regarded.
Experience in procurement relevant to a health care setting will be well regarded.
Ability to work across South East Queensland sites.
