We are seeking a Procurement & Logistics Officer to join our team in Brisbane on a full time basis. In this role you will manage the quote to cash cycle for sales of parts of our smelting, refining and mineral processing technologies supported globally, for our Capital Projects business and aftermarket business. This role will report to the Aftermarket Supervisor.
You will be responsible for: Raise and manage quotes to customers (internal and external)Parts interpretation and identificationManage the sales order process for both Projects and Aftermarket activities (entry of orders, expediting, shipping, invoicing)Procurement of goods and services for Projects and Aftermarket activities at the best valuePrepare purchase orders and follow up on progress of ordersLiaise with customers and suppliersOrganise transport for domestic and international freightAssist with identification, packing and labelling of equipment before sending to sitePrepare and manage AR invoicing to the customers that you have responsibility forTo be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in purchasing, international freight and logisticsExperience with controlling multiple inputs, in terms of customer and supplier requirements to achieve success against the scheduleIntermediate knowledge of ExcelExperience working with an ERP system – SAP (MM and SD) will be advantageousWhy you should choose us: GT's Leadership Program (4 day, Glencore Technology only, course that aims to share our culture as quickly as possible and focuses on fostering effective communication)Glencore Rewards Program (discounts at many popular stores including Woolworths)Flexible Working From Home arrangements.Please note applications will only be accepted via our Careers Page at glencore.com/careers.
