Procurement Leader - Recruitment and Labour Great opportunity to utilise your procurement experience in a complex environment Collaborative and supportive team Hybrid and flexible working opportunities, great benefits Overview of the role This is a great opportunity for a procurement professional to deliver procurement category management across the Suncorp Group, focusing on recruitment & labour hire, and IT software services.
You will develop category plans and strategies, subsequent sourcing/negotiation initiatives and ongoing management of the existing contract portfolio.
Whilst this role is initially supporting recruitment and labour, a background in some professional services procurement would be beneficial as the function goes through transformation.
You will need resilience and strong communication skills with the ability to hold tough conversations, in return you will work within a great team environment providing you with the support you need for this challenging role.
What you'll do: Developing and implementing category plans, sourcing strategies and/or negotiation strategies Gather appropriate market and industry intelligence about categories in scope Manage a category of existing suppliers and contracts including analysis of existing contracts and current spend Identify initiatives that derive benefits, through sourcing, demand management and/or contract management opportunities Prioritise initiatives according to business criticality, capacity requirements, inter-dependencies and potential benefits Define appropriate supply models for each category of spend Align Supplier and Suncorp processes to drive efficiencies for both parties Provide single point representation and relationship management for Procurement for Recruitment and Labour Hire services What you'll bring: Experienced procurement professional with minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement. Mandatory Experience with recruitment and labour hire services type agreements. Desired Experience in large organisations with complex environments. Mandatory Experience in a centralised procurement/commercial environment providing services to a broad customer base. Mandatory Experienced in achieving and being accountable for tangible commercial results. Mandatory Experience in delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes within a standardised project management framework and structured procurement approach. Mandatory Cross-functional expertise and stakeholder management with an ability to partner and collaborate with multiple leaders, functions and suppliers.
