About the Opportunity Reporting to the Procurement Manager (LOTE) and supporting the wider Supply Chain team the internal opportunity will see the Procurement Lead manage strategic procurement sourcing and contract management activities.
This position will develop, deliver and support business critical strategies and related sourcing activities through proactive engagement with key business stakeholders and the external market to ensure value for money outcomes.
This role is a full time Permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities Develop category strategies and sourcing plans that provide value for money, support on time delivery and manage ASCs risk Implement strategic sourcing activities Engage and negotiate with external market in sourcing and contract development process Management of subcontracts to ensure contract compliance and performance Knowledge sharing and coaching of team members Governance and compliance with all Supply Chain, WHS policies and procedures and ASC's Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Policy Incremental improvement in ASC Procurement and Supply Chain function About you Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, supply chain or a related field In-depth knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and contracting principles and best practices Strong negotiation skills for use in large and / or complex deals Knowledge of enterprise risk management Significant knowledge of contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and business case development Strong commercial acumen Strong skills in Microsoft Office products Eligibility and Requirements This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
