The final role accountabilities will be tailored based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.Procurement EventsLead & support strategic procurement events across Indirect categories primarily focused on IT categorySupport strategic procurement governance for the PMORepresent Corporate Procurement as part of ITLT and PMOFacilitate budget process for IT - Ensure material cost drivers are tracked and allocated to projects, change, and BAU initiativesDeliver key procurement artefacts (e.g. Procurement plan, Sourcing strategy, RFx)Lead negotiations and contract development to deliver valueAdvise business owners to build organisational capabilityCo-ordinate and manage stakeholder relationships both internal and externalIdentify sustainable cost savings in the IT budgetManage the end-to-end contract lifecycle processes and ensure they deliver value for moneyProcurement TransformationGather necessary information to support decision making and assessment of performanceIdentify process gaps and recommend and make changes to build capability and ensure effective & efficient processesEnsure procedures are maintained and updatedProvide support and advise the business as to procurement policy and procedureDemonstrate a commitment and behaviours towards long term (TCO) value realisationIdentify opportunities and support implementation of technology solutionsEnsure alignment of budget planning with Strategy and Finance departmentsEngage and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including providing advisory support in the development of business cases, developing sourcing strategies and tender evaluation plans and service level agreementsGovernanceMonitor compliance to policy and proceduresEnsuring strategic procurement is compliant to policy and processesSupport regular reviews of controls to identify weaknesses & non-complianceCollaborate with Risk, Legal, Audit & Compliance to ensure processes are fit for purposePerformance risk management and oversight for critical contracts and suppliersIdentify opportunities to improve vendor contractual agreementsReportingDevelop reporting framework and partner with analysts to ensure regular and accurate reporting of KPI's and other key management informationPrepare and provide data, analysis and reports to support cost savings, problem solving and strategy development for managementSupport reporting to Procurement Governance Council and Senior Management as requiredPrepare presentation materials when required on IT Vendors or Vendor Rate Card performanceContinuous Improvement, Strategy and ProjectsSupport continuous improvement and projects aligned to the Procurement functions goalsFacilitate regular business meetings with key vendors and provide overall IT Vendor governance framework directionYour attributesExperience in leading procurement activities in categories such as Professional Services, ICT, Data Services, Contingent workforce, Financial ServicesRelevant professional qualifications (such as CIPS) would be highly regardedExperience in financial services or professional services organisationsEnd to end contract management processExperience and knowledge of procurement software & technologiesStrong commercial awareness and business acumenTalent in negotiating and exceeding expectationsAbility to influence and build consensus at their level and aboveStrong analytical mindsetStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyse and simplify problems and issuesHave a desire to learn and grow themselves and others to support the success of the procurement functionComfortable working pro-actively and prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are metLife at Toyota & What we offer youWe pride ourselves on a work culture that supports and rewards people.
