Our mandate is to partner with each of our Business Units across the group portfolio to identify and develop high-quality optimisation programs, within the Goods & Services Not for Resale space.
We collaborate with each Business Unit to target and prioritise the areas that represent a significant improvement in their cost of doing business and therefore directly contribute to the company's bottom line.
Our teams have multiple flex options, including working from home and multiple on-site locations.

About the opportunity  We are looking for an experienced Executive-level Procurement Governance and Risk Manager to lead a dynamic program team of Governance and Supplier Management specialists in place to enable the compliance of the operational functions of the Woolworths Group Portfolio, to Procurement Policy and standards and ensure we operate within risk appetite.
The individual will be a trusted advisor to the Business Units and will support and empower them to comply with policy requirements throughout the end-to-end Procurement process.
The role will also manage the development of strategic plans to drive the operationalisation, cadence and timely updates of policy and standards.
What you'll do This role will directly contribute to the success of some of the most visible C-suite-sponsored strategic programs within Woolworths Group and will support the programmatic development and delivery of a frictionless Operational Procurement Policy.
You will: Lead and manage a team of Procurement Governance and Supplier Management Specialists Build credibility and be a trusted advisor to the GMs and senior stakeholders across the Business Units to demonstrate through reporting the value they receive through Policy compliance Be challenged in a key role where you will make a visible impact on the success of the Woolworths Group and manage C-Suite / senior stakeholder relationships.
What you'll bring We are looking for an individual with prior or current consulting or large corporate experience with demonstrable leadership skills who can nurture and drive a high-performing team.
You will bring:   Extensive experience with a large-scale corporation leading and transforming a data-led Governance and Risk space.
Strong demonstrable Program management skills as a member of a complex program team with multiple workstreams (People, Process and Systems), utilising agile methodologies Well-developed problem-solving toolkit including analytical with a creative mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity and the development of the storyboard to engage and bring stakeholders along the journey.
Proven leadership of a high-performing team and the commitment and structuring of their ongoing development.
Strong business partnering skills with senior Stakeholder Management in key Business Units e.g.
Group Risk and Group Sustainability Prior experience in quarterly delivery management of Governance, Risk and Supplier management standards The use of emerging technologies to operationalise and simplify compliance will be highly regarded What you'll experience A progressive and flexible 'Work from Anywhere' policy that gives you more control over your work, life and wellbeing.
