About the Role
Our Procurement and Fleet Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across two key areas: procurement and fleet management. You will manage systems, coordinate processes, and provide training and guidance to staff, all while ensuring the efficient functioning of procurement and fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities: Administering and maintaining the Computron Purchasing SystemMaintaining, updating and reviewing the purchasing and fleet manualsUndertaking periodical auditing of procurement activities to ensure efficient outcomesMaintaining, training and administrating of new staff members into the fleet systemsProviding support to staff on Procurement Policy and ProceduresAssisting with the updating of the Fleet Policy and ProceduresAbout You
Do you have a solid understanding of procurement and fleet systems, along with strong administrative and communication skills? You'll need to be great at managing your time and staying organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Whether you're working independently or collaborating with a small team, you'll thrive in both environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting policies and procedures and able to clearly explain them to staff.
Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification in a related field or less formal qualifications with relevant purchasing experienceProficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office SuiteCurrent Victorian Driver's LicenseAbility to interpret Policies and Procedures and be able to disseminate accurate and clear advice to achieve compliance to those Policies and ProceduresNot meeting all the requirements for this role?
