Sector: Retail & Consumer Products Job Type: Permanent Work Hours: Full Time Job Description Procurement Expeditor We have a fantastic opportunity to join a well-reputed engineering services organisation as a Procurement Expeditor.
This position operates out of their Wolverhampton office - with the opportunity to work from home once a week, if desired. The salary banding for this role is 25-35,000 dependent on experience, and those seeking the top-end will need to have proven experience in expediting and/or general procurement.
Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining accurate supplier contract status with visible surveillance points for quality. Expediting documentation from/to supply chain using the organisation's Vault software as a data register. Supply chain surveillance and expediting the release of components Managing supplier relationships and when required, negotiating with suppliers in respect of costs, discounts, and delivery performance with support of Procurement team. You will have: Preferably prior experience as an expeditor or buyer, or experience generally in procurement or supply chain - in positions with expediting duties Ability to liaise and co-operate with other departments and within a Project Team Proficient in using MS Office - Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel Able to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision Self-motivated and determined IMPORTANT : You do not need security clearance to start this position HOWEVER this will be required when in post - please keep this in mind when you apply.
