About the role As the Procurement Coordinator – Risk and Compliance, you are integral to the success of V/Line's Corporate Services Group. You will manage procurement risk and compliance activities, lead audit fieldwork, and drive governance initiatives. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring our operations meet Victorian Government standards while enhancing contractor and consulting management across V/Line. Key Accountabilities include: Performance and Governance Reporting: Generate business reports on procurement performance, governance, and compliance issues. Audit Management: Manage audit fieldwork activities, maintain the audit calendar, and ensure remediation plans are completed. Risk and Compliance Oversight: Oversee procurement risk, exemptions, and non-compliance registers, and monitor contractor/consultant compliance. Compliance Education: Educate procurement staff and business stakeholders on compliance requirements. Internal Compliance Reviews: Conduct internal compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines, procedures, and work instructions About you You are an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders. You are a collaborative team player who excels at working effectively with cross-functional teams. Our ideal candidate will also possess the following: Previous experience in procurement risk and compliance roles Understanding of ESG/social procurement and sustainability Proven experience in procurement governance and compliance Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices Ability to drive change and manage end-to-end procurement processes Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
